Who We Are

TCS Powersports is owned by Todd and Jayme Davis, long-time motorcycle industry professionals with over 60 years combined industry experience. Total Control Suspension, aka TCS, was founded in 1998 by Todd and grew to be a successful motorcycle and ATV suspension company with distribution and service centers worldwide. Sponsored riders included the multi-time Japanese ATV National Champion and the 2000 Bombardier Factory ATV Team, that won the one and only Baja 2000. When the economy took a turn for the worse in 2007, Todd was forced to close the doors on TCS....but that was only  temporary.  We are back! And offering the same high quality suspension services for dirt, street, vintage, ATV and UTV vehicles, plus race prep and restoration services for dirt bikes and dual sports.

TODD DAVIS

Owner

Todd's passion for motorcycles began at the age of 5, when he would ride his Honda 50 around in circles until it ran out of gas, tank after tank. He competed in his first motocross race 8 years later at Corona Raceway in the 80CC Beginner class. This began a 10 year period of competing across the country in motocross and cross country events, including the CMC Golden State Nationals and the GFI Winter Series, in Southern California, and on the East Coast, he competed in regional motocross and the GNCC Series. After a long layoff from racing beginning in 1994, he returned to competition in 2012 and currently races in the 40+ and 50+ A/Expert classes in the AMA NGPC Series, the 3 Bros. Endurance Series, the WORCS Series, Southern California's SRA Grand Prix Series and select events, such as the Tecate Enduro/Hare Scramble. Todd earned an AMA #1 plate in 2020, winning the AMA NGPC Series Vet Lightweight Expert National Championship. Todd has also been riding street bikes for over 30 years.

He began working on his own dirt bikes as a teenager in the 1980's and started his motorcycle career in the Parts Department at Cycle Rider in Montclair California, then later Honda-Suzuki of Pomona. His suspension experience began in 1990 with a job working with Bones Bacon at Pro Circuit. After a couple of years at Pro Circuit, Todd moved back East and started one of the country's first Race Tech Suspension Centers at Bob Thomas Honda-Kawaski in Irwin, PA. In 1994, he moved back to California to work as the Service Department Manager and R&D Technician at Race Tech Suspension. He left Race Tech in 1998 to start TCS and built it into a well respected suspension company before returning to Race Tech in 2008 to start and head their G3-S Shock Department. Todd left Race Tech in 2015 and he re-launched TCS, with the help of Jayme.

JAYME DAVIS

Owner

Todd met Jayme at Perris Raceway in the early '90's where she worked as a scorekeeper/sign-up girl/trophy girl. That was her weekend job, while during the week she worked as the office manager for a motocross promoter. During that same time, she also worked at the West Coast Camel Supercross events and the International Motorcycle Show as the flag girl for Wheelie King, Doug Domokos. She also organized the Pee Wee Half-Time Intermission Shows for the Mickey Thompson Entertainment Group. In the mid-90's her industry focus shifted from dirt to street as she moved to the Harley-Davidson genre for the next 20 + years, holding dealership positions such as General Manager and Business Manager. Additionally, she has served as a marketing consultant for the Southern California Harley-Davidson Dealers Association. Jayme holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
